The owner of the business showed Orla Guerin what he said was shrapnel from the bomb, which is believed to have been produced in the UK by GEC-Marconi Dynamics.

Yemen: Coalition Drops Cluster Bombs in Capital
Indiscriminate Weapon Used in Residential Areas
(Beirut) – Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces airdropped cluster bombs on residential neighborhoods in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, early on January 6, 2016. It is not yet clear whether the attacks caused civilian casualties, but the inherently indiscriminate nature of cluster munitions makes such attacks serious violations of the laws of war. The deliberate or reckless use of cluster munitions in populated areas amounts to a war crime.
“The coalition’s repeated use of cluster bombs in the middle of a crowded city suggests an intent to harm civilians, which is a war crime,” said Steve Goose, arms director at Human Rights Watch. “These outrageous attacks show that the coalition seems less concerned than ever about sparing civilians from war’s horrors.”

An explosion in Lahore, Pakistan has killed at least 60 people, and the death toll is still climbing.

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar is a militant Islamist group that split away from the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in August 2014. Although some media outlets reported that the group had pledged allegiance to ISIS, it had merely voiced support for the group. In March 2015, the group's spokesman announced that it was rejoining the Pakistani Taliban.
In September 2014, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan chief Mullah Fazlullah ousted Mohmand Agency chief Omar Khalid Khorasani (former leader of Ahrar-ul-Hind). Omar Khalid Khorasani and his associates in Mohmand Agency had accused the TTP leadership of deviating from the TTP ideology, leading to the formation of splinter group TTP Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan was effectively divided into two factions. The original TTP is headed by Maulana Fazlullah, who was elected in November 2013 following the killing of ex-chief Hakimullah Mehsud in a U.S. drone strike. In February 2014, Ahrar-ul-Hind, headed by Maulana Umar Qasmi (former leader in the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi) was formed after TTP opened peace talks with the Pakistani government. It later merged into Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a second splinter group that broke away from Tehreek-i-Taliban in Pakistan on 4 September 2014, and named Omar Khalid Khorasani as its commander. ...

On 2 November 2014, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan claimed responsibility for the Wagah border attack in a telephone call to Dawn from Afghanistan. "This attack is revenge for the killing of innocent people in North Waziristan." ...
On 27 March 2016, a spokesman for Taliban splinter group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jamaatul Ahrar says: 'We proudly take responsibility for the suicide attack in a park in Lahore. Life in Mohmand Agency, former home of terrorist leader Omar Khalid Khorasani
Afzal Khan Mohmand: ... On one side Mohmand Agency is facing the problem of lack of facilities in health and education sector. But on the other side this area is rich in natural resources. These are chromite, white marble and iron minerals in a huge quantity.
For this the FSSP (Agency development officer Mehtab-ub-din) said; Agency development officer Mehtab-ub-din: In this area there is much more capacity for development. I would request to the donor agencies that they should try to make this area develop then peace will be promoted automatically.
Afzal Khan Mohmand: ... The most popular and historic market of Mohmand Agency is Mian Monday which has a great importance in the trade of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia. At the time of Afghan revolution this market was the largest center of guns. Thousands of people are associated with Pak-Afghan trade and this market. But due to militancy this market has lost its luster and elegance.
Respondent: In the past we had our own business but now we are working as a laborer. Due to militancy the business of the people affected badly.
Pakistan has the worlds largest illegal gun market....no wonder its the hub of terrorism.....This is not to insult the entire nation of Pakistan but it is to insult those people who bring shame upon Pakistan and its true noble citizens......
